This afternoon we put the masts back up. Exciting moment. Let’s hope everything fits!
Yesterday I had to clean off some of the new shrouds as some kind person had tipped a load of old paint on the ground and my lovely shiny equipment was covered in goop. Not impressed.

I started with cooling it down to minus 18 in the freezer to shrink it although only succeeded in a small reduction. I then used an improvised puller to insert it having spread a liberal amount of Vaseline on it.
It’s 27th April and the last of the cabin roof plywood was installed and epoxied yesterday and to celebrate we had a tidy up and took all the tools and other stuff home. Now I don’t need to cover the boat with tarpaulin any more – hooray.
